Behavior: Upon arrival to the home setting, it was communicated with QMHP-C Laylah has been struggling with implementing coping skills to assist with resolving conflict resolutions skills in the home. Mother reports behaviors are lasting about 2-3 minutes in duration. 2. Behavior: QMHP-C appeared to be in a positive mood as well as engage in the session about her behaviors as well as contributed meaning conversation as to why she was presenting the behaviors she has been presenting when it comes to resolving conflict and when she cannot have her way, behaviors last about 3-6 minutes in duration on a daily basis. Intervention: QMHP-C provided her with alternative ways she could have resolved issues with her peers and family members in the past, present and future. QMHP-C provided Laylah with corrective feedback to assist with improving her use of communication as it relates to conflict-resolution. QMHP-C modeled appropriate communication skills and provided Laylah with the opportunity to engage in the use of appropriate communication skills to assist her with being able to communicate her thoughts when faced with challenging situations that cause her to display inappropriate behaviors. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C instructed Laylah to identify any challenging situations that she encountered with her family members or friends prior to this session. QMHP-C rewarded Laylah with an outing encouraged her to utilize learned coping skills from sessions to assist her with current and future situations. QMHP-C will continue to assist Laylah with implement calming techniques into her daily life when faced with anger trigger situations and then processing them with her the results for reinforcing success and redirecting failure. 1. Response: Laylah appeared to be receptive to QMHP-C intervention. Laylah continued to verbalize her feelings of frustration about her father and how she doesn’t understand him at times. Laylah was able to share insight on her knowledge of conflict-resolution as she provided QMHP-C with ways in which skills were utilized. Laylah was receptive to corrective feedback that was provided by QMHP-C throughout the session. 2. Response: Laylah was commended by QMHP-C for identifying challenging situations and strategies to overcome them. Laylah was overjoyed to have earned an outing. She displayed cooperative and compliant behaviors while attending the outing. She was polite and respectful to authority and peers during interactions. Laylah demonstrated manners as she thanked QMHP-C for the outing.
